Minimum Wage
Under Guernsey Law, workers are entitled to be paid a minimum wage.
The Minimum Wage is the minimum pay per hour almost all workers are entitled to by law. A young person's rate is available to 16 and 17 year olds (except apprentices under 18) but all workers (including apprentices) aged 18 and over qualify for the Adult Rate.
The rules do not differ for different size businesses or if the worker is working for a private individual.
